Leader of Ho Chi Minh City visits and presents gifts to Thuan Thanh Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers

(BNP) - On the occasion of the 73rd Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, Delegation of Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh city headed by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee, Chairwoman of City People's Council on July 26th visited and presented gifts at Thuan Thanh Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers (Center).

Leader of Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Ninh province visit and present gifts to wounded and sick soldiers being treated at the Center.

On behalf of the Delegation, Chairwoman Le expressed her deep gratitude to the wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs' families and people with meritorious services for their great contributions and precious sacrifice in the struggle to defend the country's independence. She wished that the wounded and sick soldiers will continue to live happily and longevity, promote the quality of Uncle Ho’s soldier.

She also desired the Center’s staff continue promoting their sense of responsibility, thus ensuring that wounded and sick soldiers are soon recovered to return to normal life.

On this occasion, Chaiwoman Le presented VND 30 million to the Center and gave gifts to 94 wounded and sick soldiers, each worth VND 2 million.
