“Make your dreams fly” to honor excellent students in 2017
(BNP) – In the evening of September 9th, Provincial Party Committee (PPC), Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front in association with Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund and LienVietPostBank solemnly organized event “Make your dreams fly - Bac Ninh with study and talent promotion in 2017” to honor individuals with outstanding achievements in working and studying in 2017.
General Pham Van Tra and Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien awarded gifts to excellent students.
This was the 7th consecutive year that the event was organized on large scale with an aim to honor Bac Ninh’s talents on various fields such as education, health, sports…
In school year 2016 - 2017, Bac Ninh continued being leading province for education movement nationwide. Bac Ninh ranked the 4th for high school graduation rate; many students won high prizes in national examinations…
In sports sector, a lot of province’s athletes won numerous medals at national and international competition which positively contributed to overall success of national sports
At the ceremony, nearly 300 students, athletes, trainers, teachers with outstanding achievements in learning and teaching; individuals are awarded title of Associate Professor or individuals with achievements in National Press Awards, etc. were honored and awarded with total amount of VND 1.7 billion.
Speaking at the event, Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien praised the effort and contribution of students, teachers as well as management staff in developing provincial education and promoting study and talent. He believed that with attention of Party authorities at levels, agencies and society, provincial study and talent promotion would get more outstanding achievements in the coming time.
Also at the ceremony, Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund received VND 4 billion from sponsors (VND 3 billion from Viettel Mobile), raising total amount of the Fund to VND 22.1 billion.
