To step up the development of concentrated and sustainable husbandry
(BNP) – In the afternoon July 24th, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee visited a number of typical cooperatives in Yen Phong district.
Standing Deputy Committee Nguyen Huu Quat visits Yen Binh husbandry cooperative
Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Standing Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat and the delegation visited Cuong Thinh poultry cooperative (Dong Tho commune), which has an area of over 1.5 hectares and specializes in poultry breeding, livestock, and poultry trade. Annually, it supplies about 100 thousand breed chickens to the market, bringing the revenue of VND 6 - 7 billion, creating jobs for 40 laborers with the average income of VND 4-6 million per month.
The delegation continued to visit Tan Phat agricultural development cooperative, which owns a large production scale with 3-hectare-area of breeding and aquaculture and more than 50-hectare-area of vegetable growing. The cooperative has 14 members, creating stable jobs for 20 employees, the average monthly income of 7 million VND and the yearly turnover of VND 70-80 billion.
The delegation visits Tan Phat agricultural development cooperative
Yen Binh cooperative has a breeding area of nearly 5,000m2 including 25 members and specializes in raising broiler chickens of various kinds. Its annual turnover is about VND 30 billion; creating jobs for 50 employees with the average income of VND 6-7 million per month.
After direct visits to the models, Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat suggested that the cooperatives continue to improve their capacity and efficiency, especially the production process in the direction of concentration and applying VietGAP, which aims to develop sustainably, protect the ecological environment, and ensure disease prevention. Besides, it is needed to focus on branding, chain link in production to provide clean, high-quality products, with reasonable price to local people and serve enterprises in the industrial parks in the district, province.
