Provincial leader meets and works with representatives of Tor Nordic Company (Denmark)

In the afternoon of November 8th, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh met and worked with Mr. Torben Pindstrup, Director of Tor Nordic Company (Denmark) visiting and exploring investment opportunities in the province.

 Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Torben Pindstrup expressed his gratitude to provincial leadership for the warm welcome. For more than 35 experience years working in the field of slaughtering livestock and poultry, Tor Nordic Company has proudly owned the European standard slaughterhouse technology and currently designed for over 100 slaughter plant projects worldwide, for instance, the projects are concentrated in China, Korea and Thailand in Asia, Director of Tor Nordic said.

Understanding the demand of Bac Ninh in building a centralized slaughter plant with modern technology, the company is looking forward to cooperating with the province in this field.

The Chairman of the PPC welcomed Tor Nordic Company to visit and explore opportunities for investment cooperation in the province, at the same time, briefed on the geographical location, the socio-economic development situation, historical traditions and culture of the province. Thanks to favorable location and long historical tradition, Bac Ninh is now one of the fast growing provinces with many of the top targets in the country. Bac Ninh would be a large market for clean and safe food with the socio-economic development nowadays.

In September 2017, the delegation of the province went to study and learn technology of slaughtering and preserving food in Denmark and some of the other European countries. The province is requesting the Government a mechanism to cooperate in transferring technology in building the concentrated slaughter plants in the province, ensuring food hygiene and safety, effectively developing 3F (Feed - Farm - Food) in breeding. At the same time, it is hoped that through the field trip of Tor Nordic in Bac Ninh, the two sides would find common opinions for one cooperation in near future in transferring of modern technology and equipment by European standards for slaughtering and processing of livestock and poultry./.
