(BNP) - The Ancestor Altar House of the Xuan Dinh clan, General Nguyen Dinh Nhuan, is known as the "Thuan Duc clan" in Cong Coi area, Dai Xuan ward, Que Vo town and was established during the reign of Le Trung Hung (century XVIII). During the Nguyen Dynasty (1898), when Nguyen Dinh Nhuan retired to his hometown, he renovated it and christened it "Tu Thuan Duc Tribe." Over time, the road was severely degraded and restored to its present state in 2017.

Ancestor Altar House of Thuan Duc clan is a place to worship and commemorate Nguyen Dinh Nhuan, an academician and a famous general of the Nguyen Dynasty. He also held positions in Nguyen Dynasty.

When he retired, he built a dam to retain water to cultivate 700 acres of abandoned land, contributing to the prosperity of the people. For his family, he built a worshipping house and named it "Thuan Duc Clan". When he died on January 24, 1907, his family worshiped him here.

Ancestor Altar House of Thuan Duc clan is located on a land area of 478 m2, facing southeast, surrounded by a dense residential area. In front of the Front Ceremonial Hall is a brick yard, garden, surrounding brick wall, and entrance gate.

Currently, Ancestor Altar House of Thuan Duc clan has a structure of Chinese “Nhi” letter.

Despite many years of history, Ancestor Altar House of Thuan Duc clan still retains its ancient appearance, preserving many precious antiques such as a stone stele dated 1917; thrones, bowls, incense burners, scrolls, writing racks, parallel sentences, lamps, altars, trays… which are both evidence of the temple and the people worshiped in history as well as the valuable cultural heritage of the homeland and the country.

The Ancestor Altar House of Thuan Duc clan was recognized and ranked as a historical - cultural relic in Decision No. 115/QD UBND dated August 16, 2007 by the Provincial People’s Committee.
