Architectural and artistic relic - Viem Xa communal house
(BNP) - Viem Xa communal house (Diem communal house), Viem Xa village (Diem village) are places to keep historical imprints and many memories of generations of people throughout the development process. The communal house is currently located on an area of more than 1,000m2, located in the northwest of the village, surrounded by residential areas, in front of the communal house are roads, football fields and communal ponds. This is also the center of the village when organizing a festival.
Great Communal Hall
The communal house was built in the Le Trung Hung period (1692), has a large architectural scale, the whole work is made of ironwood. However, during the resistance war against the French Court, the roof was removed, leaving only a wooden frame. In 1953, local people took advantage of the old wood and old architectural elements to restore the communal house with a traditional appearance on a smaller scale on the old ground and existed until now.

Currently, Diem communal house includes Great Communal Hall and Emperor’s Harem.
Golden door painting in fresco was recognized as a national treasure in 2019.
In addition, the communal house also worships Lady King, Quan Do Thong, Giap Ngo, and Luc Vi Bao Huu. Every year, on August 15, there are rituals of offering incense to the tutelary god at the communal house. There is no festival.

Communal house is a cultural and religious work with a long history of formation and development. Experiencing the ups and downs of the nation's history, the changes of society and nature, but the monument has always been concerned by the people to protect, restore and embellish.
