Art exchange program between Bac Ninh city - Gumi city (Korea)
(BNP) - On the evening of November 29, at the Center for Culture, Sports and Media of Bac Ninh city, an art exchange program between Bac Ninh city and Gumi city, Gyeongsangbuk-do province, Korea took place with the theme "Cultural colors of Vietnam and Korea".
Delegates give flowers to congratulate students from Bac Ninh city and Gumi city participating in the program.
Attending the program were Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Bac Ninh City Party Committee; Mr. Kim Ho Seob, Deputy Mayor of Gumi city; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province, Bac Ninh city, Gumi city and many students of the two cities.
The art exchange program is a part of activity series between two provinces of Bac Ninh and Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea taking place on November 29.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of Bac Ninh City People's Committee Nguyen Song Ha emphasized the diplomatic relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea. He said that Bac Ninh city currently has more than 250 operating Korean enterprises and about 4,400 Koreans living in the city.
Since the establishment of cooperative relations in 2019, Bac Ninh city and Gumi city have organized many activities to enhance exchange, cooperation and friendship in all fields. The cultural and artistic exchange program is an event with great significance. It is not only a unique cultural exchange imbued with the distinctive cultures of the two countries, but also an opportunity to exchange and promote the image of the homeland and people of Bac Ninh to a large number of Korean friends and vice versa. This is also a welcome and hope for the friendly relationship of the two cities as well as the two provinces becoming better.
Gumi city’s delegates are impressed with the performances of Bac Ninh city’s students.
Sincerely thanking the sentiments of the Party Committee, authority and people of Bac Ninh city, Deputy Mayor of Gumi City Kim Ho Seob expressed his admiration for the dynamic economic development as well as the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values in Bac Ninh city. He affirmed that the Program was the "sweet fruit" of the relationship between the two cities as well as a meaningful day between Bac Ninh province and Gyeongsangbuk-do province. The Deputy Mayor hoped that the two cities would jointly organize more cultural and artistic exchange programs, thereby, promoting the culture of Vietnam and Korea to the young generations, especially students.
At the Program, students from Bac Ninh City and Gumi City performed extremely unique and impressive performances, which were imbued with the unique cultures of the two countries.
The program introduced the unique cultural features of Vietnam - Korea in general, Bac Ninh city and Gumi city in particular, thereby, contributing to the consolidation of the friendly relationship between two localities as well as the two countries.
