Bac Ninh approves zoning planning task of integrated information technology park

(BNP) – The Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 123/QD-UBND approving the zoning planning task at the scale of 1/2000 of the integrated information technology park integrated (TP) in Bac Ninh province.

Accordingly, the planning area is in Khac Niem and Vo Cuong wards (Bac Ninh city) and Lien Bao and Hien Van communes (Tien Du district) with an area of about 274 hectares including about 250ha for the TP; about 24ha for other purposes such as external roads, cemetery, religion, irrigation works. The sdemand for employees and experts is expected to be about 20,000 people.

The planning aims to set up an information technology center, create infrastructure for the information technology application and development; promote the development of the information technology industry; set up a center for research and development of information technology products; incubate information technology businesses, etc.

The area is divided into two main functional sub-divisions including the designated area for the TP and services area.

The required time for making the zoning planning project is within 09 months from the date of the planning task’s approval.
