Bac Ninh clears more than 90% of spring rice cultivation area

(BNP) - According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of February 7, the whole province cleared 26,836 hectares, reaching more than 90% of the spring rice cultivation area; the first land preparation area reached 63% of the plan.


The area of spring cultivation land of Lim township, Tien Du district has enough water for sowing.

The localities have cultivated 2,445ha of Spring rice, mainly the area of direct sowing rice; supplying over 336 tons of rice seeds to farmers. In addition, 973.6 hectares of spring crops were planted, mainly potatoes, corn, peanuts and green vegetables of all kinds.

The whole province strives to basically plant 29,650 hectares of Spring rice in February 2023.
