Bac Ninh proposes to establish Ly Thai To College

(BNP) - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong has signed the Document No.314/UBND-NC to propose the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for allowing the establishment of Ly Thai To College.

Accordingly, Ly Thai To College is established on the basis of Ly Thai To Technical Vocational School, on Thuong Street, Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son Town, Bac Ninh Province. The College has the function to train and retrain human resources at 3 levels (College, Intermediate and Elementary) in order to provide learners knowledge and vocational skills, facilitate them to find jobs, create their own jobs or continue to study at higher levels to meet the demands of the labor market.

The school has the task of developing and implementing curricula, textbooks, vocational training materials, teaching and learning plans for majors, which are allowed to be trained, organizing the enrollment and management of learners, graduate recognition, license and certificates issuing, and other activities as prescribed.

Moreover, the school has the function to provide vocational majors and free employment counseling to learners, organize scientific research, apply for scientific and technological advances, technology transfer, organize production, business, and service activities in association with scientific research and job-training activities according to the provisions of law.

Besides, the Ly Thai To College will have domestic and international training cooperation, joint training with universities, coordinate with enterprises and economic organizations to provide on-the-job training, address training, in-service training according to the provisions of law.

The Ly Thai To College provides training fields such as welding, mechanical engineering, industrial electricity, civil electronics, industrial electronics, mechatronics, Reception Management, Restaurant Management - Food Service, and Food Processing.

It is expected that enrollment number at the college level in 2019 will be 220 students, and 520 students by 2023. Regarding the level Intermediate level, the number of enrollment in 2019 is 290 students, 640 ones by 2023, and at the beginning level, there will be 175 students in 2019, and 730 ones by 2023 in the plan.
