Bac Ninh ranks 7th out of 39 at the National Youth Karate Championship

The Organizing Committee awards the gold medal to athlete Nguyen Van Dang (Bac Ninh).

At the tournament, more than 600 athletes from 40 provinces, cities and industries throughout the country participated in nearly 500 matches in 2 kata and Kumite categories. Bac Ninh team has 28 athletes participating and competing in both events.

At the end of the tournament, Hanoi ranked the first with 13 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 12 bronze medals; the Public Security ranked the second with 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 5 bronze medals; the Army ranked the third with 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 7 bronze medals.

Bac Ninh team won 18 medals of all kinds, including 03 gold medals, 06 silver medals, 09 bronze medals; ranking 7th out of 39 participating units.

Among which, 03 Gold Medals belonged to athlete Nguyen Phuong Thao, Kumite category, (ages 14-15); athlete Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, kata category (ages 10-11) and athlete Nguyen Van Dang, kumite category, (ages 16-17).
