Bac Ninh wins 7 medals at National Judo Youth Championship 2022

Athletes Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha receive the gold medal in the team kata content.

The National Judo Youth Championship in 2022 attracted more than 500 athletes from 23 provinces, cities and industries across the country. Athletes participated in the competition in the age group 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 and 16-19 years old.

The Bac Ninh Judo team has 11 athletes participating in the competition.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 75 sets of medals to the athletes who won prizes in the competition contents, awarded the first, second and third prizes of the whole team to the units with excellent achievements.

Bac Ninh team won 7 medals (4 Golds, 3 Silver medals). Gold medal winners include: Tran Thi Sang (ages 12-13), Luong Nhu Quynh (ages 14-15), Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (ages 16-19), Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha (team kata content).

The tournament is organized to evaluate the movement of practicing and competing in Judo in the country; created conditions for units and localities to exchange, learn experience and improve professional qualifications. On the other hand, it is an opportunity to select and supplement forces for the National Judo youth team to compete in international tournaments in the near future.
