Bac Ninh wins 9 medals at 2020 National Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Cup
(BNP) - From December 4 to 9, 2020 National Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Cup took place in Thua Thien – Hue.

The tournament attracted more than 220 wrestlers from 17 provinces, cities and industries nationwide, including Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Quang Tri, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Thua Thien Hue, Public Security, and Army. The wrestlers competed in 3 categories including men's classical wrestling, men's and women's freestyle wrestling.
Bac Ninh team excellently won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals (exceeding the target compared to the plan). Among which, 3 gold medals belonged to wrestlers: Tran Thi Anh, Nguyen Trong Nam and Ngo Xuan Muoi. With this result, the Bac Ninh team ranked 4th in the whole delegation in terms of the number of medals, ranked 3rd in the classical wrestling category.
