Buddhist relic of Diem pagoda
Diem Pagoda (Hung Son Tu) belongs to Diem village, Hoa Long commune, Bac Ninh city. It is a Buddhist relic with the idea of promoting good, punishing evil, reincarnation, cause and effect and a place to educate the person in destroying all sorrows and the evil mind towards good things as well as to send faith and aspiration in the world of suffering.

Diem Pagoda is a place to preserve and promote good values for successive generations of the community of Diem village. The existence of Diem Pagoda also contributes to arousing pride and love for the country, which is cherished and preserved by the local people.
Every year, at Diem Pagoda, Buddha's Birthday (April 8 of the lunar calendar) takes place with the ritual of bathing the Buddha, which is associated with the belief of praying for rain of the Vietnamese people. On the full moon day of July, Vu Lan Festival is held based on the Vu Lan Bon Sutra to pray for the dead to be saved.
In addition, Diem Pagoda also performs many other festivals such as Thuong Nguyen ceremony (January 15), the ceremony of the Buddha's ordination (February 8), the ceremony of the Buddha Quan Am Bodhisattva to become enlightened (June 19). The pagoda’s door is always open to welcome visitors from all over the world with a lot of information about the past and strengthens the connection of the community.
Diem Pagoda is a physical evidence reflecting the nation's history of struggle to build and defend the country, the most specific expression of Vietnamese cultural identity.
