Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan receives and works with Business Executives for National Security (USA)
(BNP) - On the afternoon of October 29, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) of the United States led by General Timothy M. Ray, President and Director of the Organization.

Also attending the working session were Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
At the meeting, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that on the basis of the increasingly developing comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the US, Bac Ninh also pays great attention to promoting cooperation with US partners, especially attracting potential enterprises, high-tech enterprises, and semiconductor technology enterprises of the US to operate production and business in the province. At the same time, he said that at the end of September, the provincial delegation led by Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan also had a working trip to the US and worked directly with a number of large corporations: Google, Amkor, ...

Tuan quickly informed about the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the province. He affirmed that, thanks to favorable geopolitical position, synchronous infrastructure, preferential policies, and an attractive business environment, Bac Ninh has now become the industrial center of the country with many indicators ranking among the top of the country. Bac Ninh is an ideal destination for many large corporations in the world such as: Samsung, Amkor, Canon, Foxconn, Goertek and so on. Among which, US enterprises investing in the province are all operating stably and contributing to Bac Ninh’ development.

The Chairman further shared the province's development orientations for green investment attraction, green growth, and green transformation in the coming time. At the same time, he hoped that BENS would support and connect US enterprises to learn about investment opportunities in the fields such as semiconductor industry, electronics, new technology, clean energy, infrastructure investment projects, urban development, ecology, etc., thereby helping Bac Ninh continue to affirm its brand as an attractive destination for investors.
At the meeting, the provincial leaders and related departments and sectors shared and discussed the contents that the delegation was interested in related to: criteria, investment attraction areas of the province, especially in the fields of green transformation and green growth; training of high-quality human resources; room for development of industrial parks; the operation situation of US enterprises in Bac Ninh; preferential policies of the province; advantages of the province in attracting investment, etc.

For his part, Mr. Timothy M. Ray thanked the provincial leaders for taking the time to welcome him as well as for the open and useful information exchange. At the same time, he said that BENS is a non-profit organization with the goal of connecting leading US enterprise leaders to strengthen US national security through business cooperation activities. BENS, which operates in a variety of industries and fields, hoped to research cooperation opportunities in the field of green industrial park infrastructure development as well as US enterprise investment opportunities in provincial projects.
He expressed his impression of Bac Ninh's development from a purely agricultural province to an industrial center of the country. Mr. Timothy M. Ray said he would share with the Government and US enterprises about Bac Ninh's achievements, which are a typical example of Vietnam's success, thereby connecting businesses to learn about investment opportunities in the province.
