Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang works with JFE in Japan
(BNP) – In the series of activities during her trip in Japan, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang worked with Mr. Hiroyuki Haseba, Director of Recycling Business Promotion Division, JFE Engineering Corporation (Japan) in the morning of November 24th.

At the meeting, Mr. Hiroyuki Haseba thanked Giang for spending time with the Company, adding that JFE Engineering Corporation is one of the world's largest enterprises in the field of environmental treatment, recycling and power generation.
In 2020, JFE Engineering Corporation and Thuan Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company jointly established T&J Green Energy Co., Ltd. to build a high-tech domestic solid waste-to-energy treatment plant in Ngu Thai commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, which is expected to start construction in December 2021.
In the coming time, Hiroyuki Haseba expressed his hope to continue receiving the attention and support of Bac Ninh’s leaders so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
For her part, Chairwoman Giang briefed on the characteristics, culture and people as well as the outstanding socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province over the past time. She affirmed that during economic development, Bac Ninh province paid special attention to environmental protection, considering it as a key factor for the sustainable development of the province.
She affirmed that this domestic solid waste-to-energy treatment plant is consistent with the current development orientation of the province in order to thoroughly treat the generated solid waste. Therefore, she hoped the Company would accelerate the project’s progress to build a model of waste treatment for replication in the province as well as the whole country.
With the motto Bac Ninh always accompanies businesses, Giang is committed to creating all favorable conditions as well as promptly solve the company's difficulties and obstacles so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
