Conference on connecting Government’s direction and administration information on network environment with Portals of Ministries, branches and localities in 2024 held

Overview of the conference.

Participants at the conference were Mr. Tran Van Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister and Head of the Government Office; Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong; Head of the Government Cipher Committee, Major General Vu Ngoc Thiem; Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Ha Minh Hai; General Director of Government Portal Nguyen Hong Sam; leaders of Hanoi City People’s Committee; representatives from ministries, branches and the Portals of ministries, branches and localities.

Currently, 4 Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, 1 government agency and 31 provinces and centrally-run cities have built Ministry and provincial-level data portals. The total number of component pages/portals of Ministries, branches and localities is 5,635. 57 provinces and centrally-run cities have deployed the e-portal to the district level (29 of them have expanded to the ward level).

43 e-portals of ministries, branches and localities have been fully connected and integrated with component pages/portals. Many ministries, branches and localities have provided information on platforms such as Facebook (64 units), YouTube (25 units) and Zalo (45 units).

Most of the e-Portals of ministries, branches and localities have focused on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to support information search tools (index) (60 units). At the same time, they provide search tools according to the provisions of Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP (87 units). 66 units have developed and submitted to competent authorities to issue information security assurance dossiers at different levels for the e-Portal.

In addition to the web platform, the Government Portal has proactively provided information on social networks such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Zalo, about the Party’s policies and guidelines, the State’s laws and the close and drastic direction and management of the Government and the Prime Minister, contributing to creating social consensus.

Furthermore, the Government Portal has built and officially put into operation the Information Warehouse (Page) of the direction and administration of the Government, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers on the network environment at https://dieuhanh.chinhphu.vn/ to share and integrate with the Portals of Ministries, branches and localities.

At the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged some contents.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoa, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Director of Bac Ninh Portal, discussed some experiences in managing information provision of the Provincial Portal with the component Portals in Bac Ninh province.
