Delegation of Bac Ninh province visits and works in Oxford University City
(BNP) - Continuing the series of activities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, a delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on August 4 visited Oxford University City and worked with Christ Church College - one of the most prestigious and attracting schools in the network of Oxford's 38 member colleges.

Joining the delegation were Colonel Nghiem Dinh Trung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
Mr. Mark Lygo, Deputy Mayor of Oxford City welcomed and worked with Bac Ninh delegation.
Mr. Mark Lygo expressed his happiness and shared with the Bac Ninh province delegation the history of formation, the stage of development, and the great potential for cooperation between the two localities as well as the Oxford school system and the Bac Ninh education sector.

With pride in the reputation and top quality of training in the world over the past 5 centuries, Oxford in general and Christ Church College in particular are the models that Standing Vice Chairman Tuan and other members are very eager to learn and evaluate with an aim to looking for possibilities to assist integrate the Oxford University system with Bac Ninh province.

Standing Vice Chairman Tuan hoped that the two sides' collaboration would achieve many good results. He also invited the Deputy Mayor and members of Oxford University to visit and work in Bac Ninh province in the near future. At the same time, he assigned the Director of the Department of Education and Training to connect and exchange details on specific topics in order to bring the world's highest quality of education from Oxford to Bac Ninh in the near future to ensure the quality of highly trained and methodical human resources, which is the internal strength.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and the delegation respectfully offered flowers to commemorate the beloved leader of the Vietnamese People, the Hero of National Liberation, and the Cultural Personality. At the same time, the delegation further reviewed Uncle Ho's journey to find a way to save the country, including the years he lived and worked in England. Although his time in England was brief, he was helped to shape political thought in order to discover a means to liberate the people and the country.
