Delegation of Huaphanh province visits and extends Tet greetings to Bac Ninh province

Leader of Huaphanh province presents flowers to extend Tet greetings to Bac Ninh province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; leaders of relevant departments, branches, and sectors and Bac Ninh city received and worked with the delegation of Huaphanh province.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairwoman Giang warmly welcomed the delegation of Huaphanh province to visit and extend Tet greetings to Bac Ninh party, government, and people. She congratulated Mr. Kham Pheng Xay Som Pheng, who has just been appointed as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Huaphanh province. At the same time, she briefed on the socio-economic situation of Bac Ninh province with many indicators among the top in the country. Social welfare is guaranteed; political security, social order, and safety are maintained.

Recently, the two localities have promoted cooperative activities in the fields of economics, culture, society, and diplomacy. In particular, Bac Ninh province has agreed on the policy and is asking for opinions from central ministries and branches to support funding for building infrastructure construction and the headquarters of the Government Committee of Sop Bau district, Huaphanh province as well as supporting scholarship for Huaphanh students to study in the province, Giang added.

On the occasion of the New Year 2024, the Chairwoman sent New Year greetings to the Secretary, Governor of Huaphanh province, and members of the delegation.

For his part, Mr. Kham Pheng Xay Som Pheng respectfully thanked the affection, warm welcome, and brotherly love of Bac Ninh leaders. He congratulated the outstanding achievements in the province’s socio-economic development.

Mr. Kham Pheng Xay Som Pheng expressed his hope to receive more effective companionship and support from Bac Ninh province to help Huaphanh province promote investment attraction, rapidly develop infrastructure, train human resources, introduce and advertise culture, tourism potential.
