Exploring the cultural land of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac

(BNP) - On February 23rd and 24th, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion organized the Famtrip program to visit, explore and promote some tourist destinations and routes in the province with the participation of Center for Tourism Promotion of the neighboring provinces, tourism enterprises, and representatives of press agencies.

Members of Famtrip program were introduced about Quan Ho culture by artisans of Viem Xa village (in Bac Ninh city).

The delegation was introduced and visited a number of cultural and historical sites of Bac Ninh such as Temple of Le Van Thinh who ranked first in the first imperial exam; Tam Phu Temple where worships three gods of Sky, Land, and Water (in Gia Binh district); Ba Chua Kho Temple; Cung Temple – Ngoc Well; Bac Ninh Temple of Literature where honors 677 doctors of Kinh Bac region during feudal period; Temple of Lady King of Quan Ho folk songs; enjoyed Quan Ho performances at the hosting house of Viem Xa village and watched the Festival of “Arrive in Quan Ho land 2019” at the Square of Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Bac Ninh city),...

Through this field trip, members highly appreciated the potentials and strengths of Bac Ninh’s monuments and relics, especially with many advantages to developing cultural and spiritual tourism with Quan Ho folk songs and the system of temples and pagodas. The investment in the development of spiritual cultural tourism is to exploit traditional elements with higher steps, contributing to satisfying the demand towards the historical source, enjoying the community cultural activities of many people...

Famtrip program to explore the cultural land of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac is a response to the Festival "Arrive in Quan Ho land 2019" and the 10th anniversary of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk songs honored as the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, contributing to promoting tourism routes and destinations in the province to domestic and foreign tourists.
