Film screenings to celebrate 75th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2)

(BNP) - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued Decision 2234/QD-BVHTTDL on the organization of the film screenings to celebrate 75th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2020) and National Day (September 2, 1945-2020)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns Department of Cinema as the host, working with film units and localities to organize the film screenings to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam nationwide.

The films selected to be shown include a feature film entitled “Nguoi linh tham lang” (The silent soldier), a documentary film entitled “Lang xay dao” (The village building island), a documentary and science film entitled “Ky uc Long Chau” (Memory of Long Chau), “Que lua Tan Chau” (Tan Chau silk hometown), and a cartoon “Tac ke pha an” (The Gecko solves the case). 

According to the ministry, the film screenings can only be conducted in localities when the COVID-19 pandemic has been brought under control and must comply with regulations on disease prevention and control issued by the Ministry of Health. In case the film screenings cannot be carried out, the films will be shown in the next film screening period, the ministry stated.
