Film screenings to celebrate 76th anniversary of August Revolution, National Day

(BNP) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision on the organization of the film screenings in localities across the country to celebrate 76th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2021) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2021).

From August 19 to September 5, 2021, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Cinema Department to work with the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio One Member Co., Ltd., Vietnam Animation Joint Stock Company, Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company, Diep Co Entertainment Co., Ltd., Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Culture, Information and Sports and Tourism; Film Distribution and Screening Center, Cinema Center, Culture - Cinema Center, Culture - Arts Center, Cultural Centers of provinces and centrally-run cities to organize the Film screenings in localities across the country.

The films selected to be shown include a feature film entitled “Hanh phuc cua me” (Happy Mother); a documentary film entitled “Chung mot coi nguon” (Same Roots); film entitled “Sac xuan tren tho cam” (Spring on brocade); and a cartoon “Nguoi thay muon doi” (A teacher affects eternity),

According to the ministry, the film screenings can only be conducted in localities when the COVID-19 pandemic has been brought under control and must comply with regulations on disease prevention and control issued by the Ministry of Health.

In case the film screenings cannot be carried out, the films will be shown in the next film screening period, the ministry stated.
