(BNP) - Located in Cam Giang quarter, Dong Nguyen ward, after many restorations and embellishments, up to now, Mr. Tu Ba’s house still retains its ancient architectural features, becoming an address to educate revolutionary traditions for the young generation.

Mr. Tu Ba (his real name is Nguyen Thuc) was a poor patriotic Confucian scholar. After passing the Baccalaureate, he did not accept the position of mandarin and returned to his hometown to open a class to teach. He had hundreds of students including his grandchild Nguyen Van Cu (General Secretary of the Party in the 1838-1940 period). Continuing the family tradition, the children of Mr. Tu Ba’s family participated in revolutionary activities. This place was also one of the Party’s revolutionary bases in the pre-uprising period and it was used as a weapons warehouse for the revolutionary army after seizing power in Tu Son in 1945.
