IIP increases by 11.4% in first 4 months of 2021

(BNP) - According to the report of the Department of Statistics, in the first 4 months of the year, the province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) achieved a good increase (+ 11.4%) over the same period last year and was the second consecutive year that positive growth has been achieved.

Accordingly, the sector of processing and manufacturing increased by 11.4%; the sector of electricity, gas and hot water production and distribution rose 8.7%; the sector of water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment decreased by 1.95%.
