Leader of Provincial People's Committee receives and works with High-ranking delegation of Lao Statistics Bureau

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Phonesaly Souksavath expressed her impression at the strong development of Bac Ninh province over the past time. At the same time, she briefed on the general information about the current statistical activities of Laos and thanked for the help from the Government as well as the ministries, branches, provinces and cities of Vietnam in various fields, especially in the last Lao census.

Ms. Phonesaly Souksavath highly appreciated the close cooperation and relationship between Bac Ninh and Houaphanh provinces, especially the support of construction of social infrastructure and the wok of training Lao statistics students at the Bac Ninh College of Statistics. On the other hand,  she further expressed her hope to receive the attention and support of the Statistical Sector, Bac Ninh province.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong briefly informed the delegation about the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh in 2021 and the first 8 months of 2022; the cooperative and friendly relationship between Bac Ninh and Houaphanh provinces over the past time, especially the activities on the occasion of 60 years of establishing diplomatic relations and 45 years of signing the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Treaty. At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, Bac Ninh would continue to promote cooperation with Houaphanh province in field of mutual interest, thereby contributing to further tightening the friendship between two countries.
