Meeting with artists held in Tan Suu spring 2021

Provincial leaders present flowers to congratulate the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

At present, Provincial Literature and Arts Association (Association) has 339 members, with 80 among them in the branches of the Central Specialized Association. In 2020, the Association closely followed the direction of the central and provincial levels, and successfully implemented many outstanding activities. In addition, the Association also launched the Contest of Composing Propaganda Art Posters with the theme "Welcome the twentieth Party Congress of Bac Ninh province and the Party Congress at all levels for 2020 - 2025 term "; organized the Fine and Photo Art exhibition with the theme "Bac Ninh - Identity and development", thus, partly creating motivation and arousing the passion, study and creativeness of the artists associated with performing political tasks of the country.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan asked the Association for the better propaganda as well as political and ideological education, the thorough grasp of its members about the Party's views on the Literature and Arts in new situation; effective realization of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution of the twentieth Provincial Party Congress, etc.

The Association’s members are encouraged to actively participate in composing and promoting works titled "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and Party construction; constantly innovate the publishing of literature and art with an aim to meeting the increasing demands of the people, said the Secretary.

She also asked the Association to closely work with all levels and functional sectors to fight against the invasion of harmful cultural products affecting social ethics as well as protect and strengthen the valuable traditions of the nation, and absorb the cultural quintessence of mankind.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with excellent achievements in the provincial cultural activities were honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Medal "For the cause of Vietnam’s Literature and Arts" by Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
