More than 1,700 Tet gifts given to members and farmers in difficult circumstances

(BNP) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, Farmers’ Unions at all levels in the province directly visited and presented 1,727 Tet gifts to members’ families, farmers in difficult circumstances, and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well with a total value of over VND 530 million.

The Unions at all levels coordinated with relevant sectors to review and count members and farmers in difficult circumstances in the area to visit and give Tet gifts. At the same time, they actively cooperated with local authorities and organizations to respond to the movement “Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses”; mobilize members with conditions to support members and farmers in difficulty with capital, plants, seeds, production materials, land preparation, timely planting of rice and spring crops.

During the Lunar New Year, the Farmers’ Unions at all levels has stepped up propaganda work, made members and farmers sign commitments to comply with regulations on safe agricultural production, use of safe food, and clear origin. They strengthened propaganda and mobilized members and farmers to strictly comply with the provisions of the law when participating in traffic, strictly implemented “Do not drive after drinking alcohol” motto. In addition, they actively participated in maintaining security and order, preventing fires and explosions, environmental sanitation, and promoting civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and spring festivals.
