More than 200 outstanding individuals rewarded at Bac Ninh with study and talent promotion

General Pham Van Tra and Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien awarded gifts to excellent students.

This year, more than 200 individuals including pupils, students, teachers, athletes, coaches with outstanding achievements in teaching, studying and training; individuals are awarded the title of Professor, Associate Professor, People's Doctor, Excellence Doctor, Teacher of Excellence; individuals are achieved high achievements in the National Press Award and National Radio Broadcasting Festival; 47 intangible cultural heritage artisans in Quan Ho folk song, “Ca Trù”, “Tuồng”, “Chèo”, “Trống Quân”, water puppets have been awarded by People's Committee of Bac Ninh province in 2017 along with some traditional handicraft village artists were honored and awarded with total amount of more than VND 2 billion at the Program

Speaking at the event, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien praised the effort and contribution of students, teachers as well as management staff in developing provincial education and promoting study and talent. He believed that with attention of Party authorities at levels, agencies and society, provincial study and talent promotion would get more outstanding achievements in the coming time.

After 8 years of the movement of study and talent promotion and building, Pham Van Tra Study and Talent Promotion Fund has awarded nearly VND 12 billion to thousands of individuals, collectives having excellent achievements in studying and working.

Also at the Program, the Fund received more than VND 1 billion from units and enterprises in the province.
