Nearly 500 new businesses enter market in 2 months of 2024
(BNP) - According to a report from the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first 2 months of 2024, the province had 498 newly-registered businesses, an increase of 24.81% over the same period in 2023 with total registered capital of more than VND 3,801 billion; the average registered capital of a newly established enterprise reached VND 7.63 billion. In particular, the rate of online business registration applications reached 100%, ranking first in the country.

In the first 2 months of the year, the province had 252 businesses operating again, an increase of 22.33%; 896 businesses registered to temporarily suspend operations, an increase of 35.14%; 95 enterprises carried out voluntary dissolution procedures; 50 businesses changed their type of operation...
In February, the province had 189 newly-registered businesses, an increase of 15.95% with a total registered capital of more than VND 1,170 billion; 37 businesses reopened; 128 businesses registered to temporarily suspend operations; 35 businesses carried out voluntary dissolution procedures.
As of now, there are 22,610 enterprises with a total registered charter capital of more than VND 397,550 billion, of which 18,136 are operating with a total charter capital of more than VND 361,015 billion. The average registered capital per enterprise is VND 19.9 billion.
In addition, there are 2,040 enterprises temporarily suspending operations with a total charter capital of more than VND 16,494 billion; 2,434 businesses are not operating at their business address with a total charter capital of more than VND 20,040 billion.
