Nearly 7,000 participants attend Provincial Cultural Conference
(BNP) – In the morning of October 23, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Bac Ninh city), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a provincial cultural conference in 2022. The conference was connected online to 138 venues of districts, cities and communes, wards and township in the province with nearly 7,000 participants.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
After 25 years of Bac Ninh’s re-establishment, the career of Bac Ninh's culture, sports and tourism has developed quite comprehensively. The system of tangible and intangible cultural heritage is preserved and embellished, promoting its values, especially the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song - the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The activities of advertising the image of cultural and potential Bac Ninh province are promoted, affirming as a safe destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Quoc Chung thoroughly grasped Resolution No. 71, dated August 29, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee on " Building and developing the culture and people in Bac Ninh until 2030 to meet the requirements of sustainable development”. Bac Ninh is one of the leading provinces in the country promulgating a thematic resolution on building the culture and people of Bac Ninh to develop comprehensively, towards truth, goodness and beauty, and imbued with the national spirit and homeland identity.
At the conference, participants discussed and affirmed that Bac Ninh culture and people are an important driving force for the sustainable development of the province; uphold the leadership role of Party committees at all levels in mastering, propagating and implementing Resolution No. 71; propose many solutions to realize the goal of building culture and people of Bac Ninh in accordance with the trend of the times.
Addressing the conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia congratulated and praised the efforts and outstanding achievements of Bac Ninh’s Party Committee, authorities and people in recent years, especially in the field of construction and development of culture and people of Bac Ninh. At the same time, he urged the province to focus on implementing a number of solutions to create breakthroughs and stronger changes in cultural development and people building in Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac in the coming time.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Bac Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized the significance of the Provincial Cultural Conference and the promulgation of Resolution No. 71 of the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, he also highlighted a number of contents that need to be implemented in the near future.
