Newly-established enterprises increase over 16%

(BNP) - According to a report by the Department of Planning and Investment, the province has seen 1,044 newly-established enterprises in the first 5 months of this year with a total registered capital of more than VND 12,144 billion, an annual increase of 16% in terms of the number of enterprises and 77 % in terms of registered capital compared with same period in 2020. The average registered capital per newly established enterprise reached VND 11.6 billion, an increase of 80% over the same period.

Furthermore, 373 enterprises have resumed operations; 595 enterprises registered for the temporary suspension of business activities; 95 enterprises were dissolved; while 124 enterprises transformed their activities in the first 5 months of the year.

Accumulated up to now, there are 18,556 enterprises in operation with a total charter capital of more than VND 308,251 billion; the average registered capital per enterprise reached VND 16.61 billion. Among which, 10,306 One member limited liability company; 4,944 Limited liability companies with 2 or more members; 2,791 Joint stock companies; 500 Private Enterprises and 01 Partnership.
