Offering incense on occasion of 119th birth anniversary of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet
(BNP) - On the occasion of the 119th birthday anniversary of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet (May 28, 1905 - May 28, 2024), a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council offer incense at the Monument of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet (Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh city) on the morning of May 28.
Provincial leaders offer incense to commemorate comrade Hoang Quoc Viet.
Joining the delegation were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions, Bac Ninh city; relatives of comrade Hoang Quoc Viet; teachers and students of Hoang Quoc Viet High School.
The delegation respectfully offered incense to Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's Monument - A dedicated communist soldier of the Vietnamese revolution and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the outstanding son of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac. They also expressed their profound thanks for all of his significant accomplishments and contributions to the Vietnamese revolution as well as his profound love for Bac Ninh homeland.
Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet, whose real name is Ha Ba Cang, was born on May 28, 1905 in Dap Cau commune, Vo Giang district, Bac Ninh province (now Dap Cau ward, Bac Ninh city). He was one of the first revolutionary workers of the Vietnamese working class. He has left us a shining example of an indomitable, loyal, honest, simple, sincere and very tolerant as well as being loved and respected by the entire Party, people, and army. He is forever the pride of our Party, our people and Bac Ninh homeland.
Studying and following the example of comrade Hoang Quoc Viet, the Bac Ninh’s Party Committee, authorities and people vowed to promote the tradition of revolution, solidarity and unity, continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, determined to complete the goals and tasks, building Bac Ninh province more and more beautiful, modern and civilized.
After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation visited the exhibition house of documents and artifacts about the life and career of comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's revolutionary activities.
