Provincial leader receives and works with BC Card Co., Ltd (Korea)

(BNP) – Implement signed content of cooperation agreement in building e-government and smart city in Bac Ninh province with the Provincial People's Committee, Lien Viet Post Commercial Joint Stock Bank on November 13th in coordinated with BC Card Co., Ltd. (Korea) to support Bac Ninh province in the field of electronic citizen cards.

Receiving and working with the Company were Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

Mr. Lee Mun Whan, Chairman of BC Card Co., Ltd thanked for the warm welcome of the provincial leader and said that BC Card is now the largest Korean company, specializing in providing credit card processing service and payment platform (belongs to Kt Group). With 35 years of experience in the card field, e-commerce and Fintech, Mr. Lee Mun Whan hoped that BC Card will have an opportunity to support the province in carry out smart citizen cards, thereby, bringing many conveniences for people and businesses in the province in the coming time.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Tien Nhuong welcomed BC Card Co., Ltd to visit Bac Ninh province and briefed on the province's socio-economic development during past years with many leading indicators all over the country. Up to now, Bac Ninh province has 10 among 16 integrated industrial parks in operation, attracting more than 1,200 FDI enterprises with total investment capital about of USD 17 billion, of which, Korean enterprises with total investment capital about USD 12 billion.

At present, Bac Ninh is one of the first localities in the country to build e-government and smart city with an aim to improving the quality of public services and providing the best service to people and businesses in the province.

The Permanent Vice Chairman desired Lien Viet Post Commercial Joint Stock Bank and BC Card Co., Ltd to actively study and support Bac Ninh in order to deploy e-citizen cards in the shortest time.

Previously, BC Card Co. Ltd. visited the Provincial Public Administration Center and the Information and Communications Technology Center (Department of Information and Communication).
