Provincial People's Committee launches 2024 National Digital Transformation Day
(BNP) - In the morning of October 10, the Provincial People's Committee launched the 2024 National Digital Transformation Day.

Attending the event were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Information and Communications; members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation.

After more than 2 years of implementation, 8/14 targets set out in the Resolution have been completed and exceeded, creating a solid foundation to continue promoting digital transformation in the coming time. In addition, Bac Ninh ranked first nationwide in terms of the proportion of digital economy in GRDP at 56.83%; the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) ranked 7th out of 63 provinces and cities; the readiness index for development and application of information and communication technology ranked 10th out of 63 provinces and cities; the network information security index ranked 4th out of 63 provinces and cities; the rate of non-cash social security benefits payment reached 99.85%; the rate of non-cash pension and social insurance benefits payment reached 93%, etc.

Bac Ninh is also one of the leading localities in the country in meeting technical requirements and information security to pilot the service of issuing Criminal Record Certificates on the VNeID application. It is also reviewing, updating, and cleaning the data of Electronic Health Records and Electronic Health Books of citizens to integrate into the VNeID application...

At the event, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and leaders pressed the button to launch the National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, 2024 in the province, the pilot implementation of issuing Judicial Records and Electronic Health Books on VNeID and the Foreign Affairs Information Page of Bac Ninh province.
Also at the event, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Hong Phuc launched the emulation movement "Digital transformation for the period 2024 - 2025", an online contest to learn about Digital transformation, administrative reform and Project 06 on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 in the province, and an Administrative Reform Initiative Contest.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Provincial Steering Committee, departments, branches, localities, people and enterprises in digital transformation in recent times. At the same time, he requested that departments, branches, sectors and localities continue to closely follow the policies, strategies and orientations on national digital transformation, strengthen communication on the benefits and effectiveness of digital transformation, improve the quality and efficiency of administrative reform, the investment environment, review and effectively deploy solutions to ensure network safety and security, protect personal data in digital transformation, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the digital environment.

He also urged the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with relevant units to effectively deploy public services to issue Criminal Record Certificates on the VneID application; promote the application of information technology, digital transformation in the health sector; deploy Electronic Health Records, etc.
On this occasion, 06 collectives and 13 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing information technology applications and digital transformation in 2024 received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
