Provincial Youth Union organizes 18 Challenge Competition in 2024

(BNP) - On November 21, the Provincial Youth Union organized the 18 Challenge Competition in 2024 for high school students in the province at the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication (Bac Ninh city).


Students from Thuan Thanh town and Tien Du district participate in the "18 courage " competition.

The Competition had the participation of 48 talented candidates from high schools in districts, towns and cities. The competition opened up a useful and healthy playground while also creating opportunities for students to improve their self-development capacity, practice critical thinking, and present educational, social, scientific and natural issues, life concerns, and school psychology from various perspectives. At the same time, it also created a favorable environment for students in the province to affirm their role in mastering knowledge, conquering dreams, courage and confidence in global integration.

8 teams competed in the Competition, going through 3 rounds: "18 integration", "18 courage", and "18 talent". In the "18 integration" round, 8 teams were divided into two groups A and B by drawing lots, with each group consisting of four teams and answering 15 multiple-choice questions regarding economics, history, culture, and society.

In the "18 courage" round, students expressed their personal thoughts and comments on issues that young people are interested in today, especially on social networks, prominent domestic and international political and social events, issues that need to be raised for the Youth Union, Association, and Team organizations in the current period and discussed, analyzed, and identified right and wrong together to understand the issue thoroughly and thoroughly.

In the "18 talent" round, candidates performed modern dance, singing and dancing performances brought a vibrant and exciting atmosphere to the competition.

The competition contributes to the development of a new, practical form of Union and Association activities, creating attraction for union members and young people; helping high school students develop the necessary skills of 21st century global citizens such as analytical thinking, logic, creativity, research, problem solving, teamwork, research, communication, presentation, etc.

At the end of the Contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 First, 02 Second, 02 Third Prizes and 03 Encouragement Prizes as well as the prize to the best debater.
