Religious organizations extend Tet greetings to Bac Ninh province
(BNP) - On the occasion of Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024, on February 5, a delegation of Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace led by Bac Ninh Diocese Bishop Do Quang Khang extended Tet greetings to Bac Ninh province.

Receiving the delegation was Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.
Mr. Do Quang Khang sent Tet greetings to the provincial leaders and people in the province for a peaceful and happy Giap Thin Spring. At the same time, he thanked for the province’s attention and favorable conditions for the activities of Catholics in recent years. He further expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Catholics would continue to receive attention, support and help from the provincial leaders, functional departments and sectors for the church activities, thereby, contributing to the great national unity bloc.

In a friendly and warm atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung sent his wishes for a peaceful and happy new year to the Bishop, priests and the lay community in the province. At the same time, he hoped that dignitaries and lay people would continue to well implement the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State, live a good life, join hands and contribute to building the Bac Ninh homeland to become increasingly civilized and modern.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung sent his wishes for a happy new year to the Venerable Thich Thanh Phung, the Executive Board and monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province. At the same time, he hoped that the Provincial Buddhist Sangha would continue to well implement the Buddhist affairs, promoting the role of guiding monks, nuns, and Buddhists in religious activities in accordance with the motto and purpose of Buddhism, thereby, actively contributing to the province’s overall socio-economic development.
