It was considered as a milestone demonstrating the determination to build the first collective sport of the province, which aims to satisfy, improve the spiritual life of the people, contributing to promote the image, the people and the land of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac to friends inside and outside of the country.

Kinh Bac Women's Volleyball Team consists of 20 athletes and 03 coaches, the Head Coach is Mr. Pham Van Long, former Head Coach of Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team.

LienViet PostBank International Women's Volleyball Championship 2017

It was the fourth time for the LienViet PostBank International Women's Volleyball Championship held in Bac Ninh, also an activity for welcoming 185th anniversary of establishment and 20th anniversary of re-establishment of the province. The tournament had attendances of 08 teams, including 04 top teams in the country: LienVietPostBank, VTV Binh Dien - Long An, Tien Nong - Thanh Hoa, Vietinbank. The four international teams were Thai youth team, Malaysia, Tianjin University, Nanjing University (China).

The championship team belonged to Lien Viet PostBank; The second, third and fourth prizes were VTV Binh Dien, Vietinbank, Tien Nong - Thanh Hoa in turns; Encouraged prize was awarded to Nanjing University; Style Award was Youth Team of Thailand.

Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship 2017

Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship held in 2017 in Bac Ninh for the first time was the occasion to introduce, promote the land, people of Bac Ninh to friends, tourists inside and outside the country, boost the development of wrestling in the province and other countries in the region.

The tournament attracted nearly 130 athletes from seven countries in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos and Vietnam. The athletes competed 24 sets of medals in three categories: Greco Roman, male and female freestyle.

After the championship, Vietnam won 24/24 gold medals. Bac Ninh province had 06 athletes joining the tournament and got 05 medals.

National Youth Weightlifting Championship 2017

Held in Bac Ninh for the first time, National Youth Weightlifting Championship 2017 attracted the participation of more than 200 athletes from 26 outstanding weightlifting teams nationwide competing in 02 contents: the snatch and the clean and jerk. Bac Ninh team joined in the tournament with 12 athletes.

At the end of the tournament, the winner team was Hanoi for the achievement of 15 gold medals, 8 silver medals, 10 bronze medals. Second prize was Bac Ninh with 12 gold medals, 9 silver medals and the third prize belonged to Tien Giang with 8 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

Open Karate Championship of the North and Bac Ninh 2017

This Open Karate Championship 2017 attracted 300 athletes from 21 units in 12 provinces and cities in the North and 8 districts, town and city of Bac Ninh province.

The Bac Ninh delegation had 22 athletes competing at all contents including Kumite Individual for men and women, male and female teammates. The championship team belonged to the People's Army. Ranked second team was Vinh Phuc and third prize belonged to Bac Ninh team.

Regarding the Karate Championship of the province, there were 165 athletes from 08 districts, town and city competing in both Kata and Kumite. After the matches, Que Vo team won the first prize. Second and third prizes belonged to Tu Son, Tien Du team in turn.

National Youth Badminton Tournament 2017

National Youth Badminton Tournament 2017 attracted nearly 200 athletes from 23 badminton teams of provinces, cities and branches in the country. The athletes competed in five categories: men single, women single, men double, women double, mixed double.

12 athletes in Bac Ninh team competed in the men single, men double and mixed double with the goal of at least 3 medals.

In the end, Bac Giang ranked first with 15 medals; Hanoi ranked second with 12 medals; Hai Phong and Thai Binh ranked third with 6 medals per team; Bac Ninh ranked fifth equal with Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Son La provinces, achieving 4 medals.

National Women's Boxing Championship 2017

The tournament attracted the participation of more than 200 male and female athletes from 34 boxing teams from provinces, cities and branches nationwide. All of them aged between 18 and 23 competed in 11 male weight classes (from 46 kg to over 91kg); 11 female weight classes (from 45kg to over 81kg). Bac Ninh team had 09 athletes.

At the end of the tournament, the first prize for female group belonged to the Hanoi; the second and third prizes were Bac Ninh, People's Army in turn. Regarding the male groups, People's Army, Da Nang, People’s Police successfully ranked first, second, third in turn.
