Remove difficulties and obstacles to BT projects in terms of transportation

(BNP) – On September 14, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Ngo Tan Phuong chaired a Conference on removing difficulties and obstacles to the implementation of BT investment projects in terms of transportation in the province.


Overview of the conference.

According to the report of the Department of Transport, the province currently has 07 BT projects in terms of transportation, including: Project on renovating and upgrading Provincial Road (PR).277, section from Phu Khe ward to Memorial of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu and technical infrastructure of Dong Beo quarter, Phu Khe ward (Tu Son city); project on renovating and upgrading PR.286, section from Cho township to Do Lo bridge (Yen Phong district), section km3+680 to Dai Dinh bridge; project on renovating and upgrading PR.295B (Tu Son city); project PR.277, Tu Son city to Cho township (Yen Phong district), from km0+00 to km3+680; project PR.286 on changing route from Van An ward to Phong Khe ward (Bac Ninh city) and project on Trinh Xa – Da Hoi road (Tu Son city).

Among which, 6/7 projects have basically finished, only the project on Trinh Xa – Da Hoi road had land problems since people did not receive compensation and support for site clearance.

At the conference, the delegates exchanged, discussed and proposed the solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing reciprocal projects; interest expenses; settlement of the project and reciprocal infrastructure; site clearance for the construction…

Vice Chairman requested Departments and sectors to actively deploy, cooperate closely with the localities to advise the Provincial People’s Committee in removing difficulties and obstacles of the projects implementation.

The localities continue to propagate, mobilize and create consensus among people in site clearance as well as initially handover the sites to investors for construction.

The investors prepare human resources and are willing to cooperate with the Departments and sectors to speed up the progress of work implementation and project disbursement. The investors proactively complete settlement documents and send them to the Department of Transport for acceptance and appraisal, next send it to the Department of Finance for verification and report to the Provincial People's Committee on the BT projects settlement.

For the investment project on building a road along B2 canal (Tu Son city) which has not yet signed as a BT contract, the Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Transport to actively cooperate with other departments, sectors, investors and localities to review procedures, ensure the investors’ legality and capacity, synthesize and report to the Steering Committee on revising and handling difficulties and obstacles during the implementation of BT projects which are currently considered and resolved by the province.
