Accordingly, participants include all professional and non-professional journalists, collaborators, and informants of domestic and international press agencies whose journalistic works with the above contents are eligible for the Prize. Print, online, spoken word (radio), television (television), and photojournalism are all eligible for this award.

The contents of press works participating in the Press Award must detect, accurately, and promptly reflect the contents of propaganda of the Party's guidelines and lines, the State's policies and laws, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front's action program on strengthening and promoting national unity. Furthermore, the works contain content that closely follows and accurately represents the country's and localities' political, cultural, socioeconomic, defense, and security situations, as well as key events, etc.

Besides, the works propagate the results of implementing 5 action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the work of building great national unity; campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities", "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods"; emulation movements "Solidarity for creativity", "Grateful and grateful" activities, "For the poor" peak month and so on.

Each author can submit a maximum of five works. The number of members of an author group must not exceed seven. The works participating in the award are sent to the organizing committee of the press award "For the Cause of Great National Unity" and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (No. 46, Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). The time to receive work is from June 21, 2023, to July 31, 2024.

It is expected that the Organizing Committee will reward the winning works on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the National United Front of Vietnam - Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).
