Tieu Long communal house - National architectural and artistic relic

(BNP) - Dinh Tieu Long, Tuong Giang ward, Tu Son city was built a long time ago and was restored and greatly embellished in the Nguyen Dynasty. Until now, the communal house still retains its ancient appearance with many valuable ancient artifacts, is a place of cultural activities and beliefs of local people.


 

Tieu Long communal house worships Saint Cao Son - a famous general of the Hung Kings period who fought the enemy to stabilize the country and worships Mrs. Chinh Hien - a descendant of the Hung King's lineage.

Tieu Long communal house was built on an area of more than 2,500 m2, adjacent to the ancient Tieu Tuong river, including the works: Tam Mon (three gates), Tien Te (Front Ceremonial Hall), Dai Bai, Hau Cung (Emperor’s harem), Dai Vu and auxiliary works.

Tieu Long communal house still preserves many valuable documents and artifacts such as: altars, tablets, incense, incense burners, worshiping swords, trays... under the Le - Nguyen dynasties.


 

Every year, the communal house is opened from February 5-7 (lunar calendar). Tieu Long communal house is ranked as a National Art-Architecture Relic according to Decision No. 09/2005/QD-BVHTT dated March 8, 2005.
