Tourist attractions in Bac Ninh province appear in Hoa Minzy’s MV “Bac Bling”

(BNP) - Famous places in Bac Ninh such as: Do Temple, Ba Chua Kho Temple, Dau Pagoda, Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater... all appear in Hoa Minzy’s MV “Bac Bling”.

Do Temple

The special national relic site of Do Temple (also known as Ly Bat De Temple) is located in Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city. This is an important historical and cultural relic complex, worshiping the 8 Kings of the Ly dynasty (Ly Bat De), who made great contributions to the construction and development of Dai Viet.

The temple covers an area of ​​about 31,250 square meters, including many unique architectural works, typical of the architectural style of the Ly, Tran, and Nguyen dynasties, including the Great Palace, the Front Ceremonial Hall, the Middle Hall, the Emperor’s Harem, the Water Pavilion, and the Jade Well.

Do Temple Festival is held on the 15th day of the third lunar month. The festival features many special activities such as palanquin procession, worship, Quan Ho singing and folk games for local people as well as tourists to participate.

Ba Chua Kho Temple

Located in Co Me area, Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh city, Ba Chua Kho Temple is a famous spiritual place that attracts many people, especially business people, to come and pray for wealth.

Every year, on the 14th day of the first lunar month, tens of thousands of people buy gold coins, sticky rice, chicken, wine, incense and flowers to go to the temple to pray for a year of good business. If business is going well, they will “return the favor” by making a larger offering.

Ba Chua Kho Temple is not only a historical relic but also a place imbued with folk beliefs, expressing the desire for a prosperous life of the Vietnamese people.

Dau Pagoda

Dau Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, considered the first Buddhist center of our country. The pagoda is located in Thanh Khuong ward, Thuan Thanh district.

The pagoda has a traditional architectural style with a three-door gate, a front ceremonial hall, an incense burning hall and an upper hall. The special highlight is the Hoa Phong tower, about 17m high, which remains after many restorations.

Dau Pagoda Festival is held on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month. In addition to the procession of the Four Dharma palanquins to pray for peace and favorable weather, visitors will enjoy the festival with many special performances such as dragon dance, lion dance, Quan Ho singing, folk games such as cockfighting, wrestling, chess, tug of war, pot smashing...

Phu Lang Pottery Village

Located in Phu Lang commune, Que Vo town, Phu Lang village is famous for its pottery making with a history of about 800 years.

This place is famous for large-sized eel-skin glazed ceramics such as jars, ceramic vases, incense burners, altars... along with many diverse and rich products such as ceramic relief paintings, ceramic statues, interior decorations, and worship items.

In addition to visiting pottery workshops and learning about traditional pottery firing techniques, visitors here will experience making pottery themselves guided by artisans. The idyllic, rustic scenery with undulating tiled roofs, pottery kilns... is also an ideal check-in spot for visitors.

Dong Ho painting village

Dong Ho painting village (in Song Ho ward, Thuan Thanh town) is the cradle of the famous Dong Ho folk painting genre. Dong Ho paintings have a history of hundreds of years and have become an indispensable cultural feature during every traditional Tet holiday of the Vietnamese people.

The characteristic of Dong Ho paintings lies in the natural materials: Do paper covered with mother-of-pearl creates a shimmering background, colors are made from minerals and plants, and delicate wood carvings. The paintings have rich content, from congratulatory themes such as: Mouse Wedding, Vinh Hoa - Phu Quy to paintings reflecting daily life.

Lim Festival

Lim Festival is one of the largest and most typical festivals of Kinh Bac region, taking place on the 13th day of the first lunar month every year in Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province. This is a festival to honor Quan Ho singing - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, and to commemorate Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dien - the person who contributed to the development of Quan Ho culture.

The highlight of Lim Festival is the Quan Ho singing activities on dragon boats, in the communal house yard or in the tents. Visitors can immerse themselves in the smooth, deep melodies performed by the singers.
