28th Nagakawa Running Tournament - Bac Ninh Newspaper Cup opens

The provincial leaders participate in the tournament.

The 28th Nagakawa Running Tournament - Bac Ninh Newspaper Cup in 2024 under the theme “Heath for working and national defense” is one of the practical activities in response to the "Olympic Running Day for the People's Health" in 2024; promoting the movement "All people practice following the great Uncle Ho's example"... thereby, contributing to improving people's physical health, building  healthy lifestyle and cultural environment as well as strengthening human resources for the province and country.

This year's tournament consists of 2 events: Running to praise force and cross-country running. In which, the content of running to praise force had the participation of nearly 2,000 people.

In addition to the two yearly contents of running to praise force and cross-country running, this year's Organizing Committee carried out the movement running tournament to increase the number of participants in the tournament. This is new content attracting the participation of nearly 500 athletes.

The content of running to praise force attracted the participation of more than 2,500 people including leaders, elderly, armed forces, union members, youth, pupils, students and strata of people

Participating in the cross-country running content, there were nearly 200 athletes from 11 units including: 08 districts, towns and cities and sectors consisting of the Provincial Public Security; 229th Brigade; People's Police Technical Logistics University. The athletes competed in 4 contents: Young men with the distance of 3,000m, young women (2,500m), men’s champion (5,000m), women’s champion (distance 3,000m).

At the end of the Tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded Cups and prizes to the whole team; team prizes and individual prizes in each competition content for outstanding athletes.
