Announcement of Cultural and Sports Facilities Network Planning and Tourism System Planning
(BNP) - On October 18, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an online conference to announce Cultural and Sports Facilities Network Planning and Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045.
Overview of the conference.
At the Conference, the leader of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced Decision No. 509/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister on approving the Tourism System Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045 and Decision No. 991/QD-TTg dated September 16, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the Cultural and Sports Facility Network Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
The tourism system planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, aims to develop tourism into a truly spearhead economic sector, in a professional, modern and in-depth direction, accounting for an increasingly high proportion in the GDP structure, creating a driving force to promote other industries and fields, thereby contributing significantly to the formation of a modern economic structure. In particular, the general goal by 2025 is that Vietnam will become an attractive destination with high tourism development capacity in the world. By 2030, tourism will truly become a spearhead economic sector, developing in the direction of green growth, becoming a destination with leading development capacity in the world.
The planning of cultural and sports facilities network for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, strives to develop a synchronous, modern, and unique national cultural facility network, aiming to build a national image associated with absorbing the cultural quintessence of the times, meeting the prescribed standards and practical needs; develop a network of cultural and sports facilities associated with the market mechanism is a resource for developing the cultural industry and sports economy; form high-quality products and services, meeting the needs of society, serving the lifelong learning and training of the people, contributing to building a learning society and improving the quality of life...
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong requested relevant agencies and units to focus on promoting propaganda and dissemination of the core contents of the plan to people and the business community in order to create unity in awareness and action, and effectively implement the contents of the plan.
Also at the conference, representatives of ministries, branches and localities discussed and gave opinions on the above two plans.
