Bac Ninh attracts 993 thousand tourists

(BNP) – In 9 months of 2018, the province has attracted 993 thousand tourists with an increase of 32% compared with same period of last year. Total guest days was estimated at 1,190 thousand days, increasing 32%.

Many tourists enjoy Quan ho folksongs.

In 9 months this year, total service revenue (food and accommodation services) reached VND 714 billion with an increase of 15%. Among which, there were 120 thousand foreign visitors, a year – on – year increase of 18.6%.

With the aim of expanding spiritual tourism activities in association with traditional festivals, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the departments and sectors in coordination with localities and enterprises to organize the free tours to the temples and pagodas during the festival. At the same time, the province organized tours associated with cultural events, national holidays to attract visitors.
