Bac Ninh organizes Quan ho folk song singing program on boat with theme "Hometown Melodies"
(BNP) - To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of September 2, on the evening of September 1, at the lake area in front of the headquarters of the People's Council - Provincial People's Committee, the Quan Ho folk song program on boat took place with the theme "Hometown Melodies". The program is broadcast live on Bac Ninh Radio and Television Station and some provinces and cities.
Provincial leaders attended and enjoyed the program.
Participants at the program were: Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms.Tran Thi Hang, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Departments, branches, localities and a large number of local people and visiters.
The program is elaborately invested and choreographed, bringing to the public a unique and emotional art space consisting of two parts: the opening part and the Quan ho performance on the boat.
The opening part of the program was with a concert of ethnic musical instruments. Next are Quan ho songs with old lyrics and smooth, loving new lyrics. End of the program is a beautiful art fireworks display.
Along with the Quan Ho folk song performance on the boat, people and tourists can also participate in a number of other activities on September 1st - 2nd, including: Visiting the photo exhibition "Beauty of Quan ho region" at the Provincial Museum; visit the exhibition area, introduce typical products of traditional craft villages; area for displaying, introducing and promoting OCOP products; enjoy the Water Puppet performance of Dong Ngu Water Puppet Village, Thuan Thanh District; Huu Chap village tug-of-war ceremony.
