Bac Ninh strengthens cooperation with localities of the Russian Federation

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong meets the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Association and the Republic of Mordovia

At the meeting with the government of Yaroslavl, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong and the leader of the Yaroslavl government discussed cooperation agreements in the fields of economy, investment, trade, science and technology, IT, culture and tourism as well as accounted to the conditions and the prospects for cooperation in some fields such as economy and trade; light industry; food industry; production of material construction; mineral; education and training; science and technology; culture, sports and tourism. The government of Yaroslavl will organize a delegation to Bac Ninh to unify and sign cooperation content in the near future.

Also within the framework of the work, the delegation visited Vyatskoye village of Yaroslavl with an aim to learning the model to promote tourism development; restoring, constructing, preserving, introducing, promoting the value of traditional Russian villages... Yaroslavl's side expressed its desire to cooperate in the field of tourism, boosting this potential between the two sides.

The delegation also visited the Yaroslavl Polytechnic University to discuss the cooperation program in the field of education and training.

Besides, the delegation of Bac Ninh province attended the Business Connection Workshop; worked with the Russia - Vietnam Friendship Association, the Government of the Republic of Mordovia and a number of economic corporations and businesses of the Russian Federation. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced the advantages of Bac Ninh province’s potential and geopolitical and geo-economic. Bac Ninh Province and the Government of the Republic of Mordovia desired to cooperate in the field of the food industry, trade, communication, education and training, culture and tourism.

The working of Bac Ninh province's delegation aims to expand cooperation in the fields with the localities of the Russian Federation, strengthen people's external relations, and contribute to strengthening traditional friendship relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (January 30, 1950 - 2020).
