Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang receives General Director of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd

(BNP) - On November 24, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee received Mr. Niimura Minoru, General Director of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. on the occasion of preparing to end his working term at Canon Vietnam.

At the meeting, Mr. Niimura Minoru would like to thank the leaders of Bac Ninh province for their interest in helping the Company in general and personally in particular during his 5 years working in Vietnam. At the same time, he said that 2 factories in Tien Son Industrial Park and Que Vo Industrial Park specializing in the manufacturing and processing of laser printers, inkjet printers, photo scanners, creating jobs for more than 13,000 workers, Canon Viet Nam Co., Ltd. has been affirming to be one of the leading efficient FDI enterprises in Bac Ninh.

Mr. Niimura Minoru hoped that Bac Ninh’s leaders would continue to support and accompany businesses for long-term investment in the locality, especially paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Mr. Okamoto, the successor to the post of General Director of the Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd successfully completed the tasks set out.

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang hoped that when he returned home, Mr. Niimura Minoru would continue to introduce to Japanese enterprises about cooperation and investment opportunities as well as cultural traditions of the countryside of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac.

She highly appreciated the contribution of Japanese businesses in Bac Ninh, including Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Giang further hoped that after taking over the position of General Director of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Okamoto would join the company's leadership team to continue to improve production and business efficiency, for the common development of enterprises and the province, construction of Bac Ninh is growing more and more.
