Chairwoman of Provincial People's Committee receives and works with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to Vietnam
(BNP) – On the afternoon of April 15, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) received and worked with Mr. Shovgi Mehdizada, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Vietnam and Mr. Kanat Tumysh, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Giang briefly introduced the outstanding achievements in the province’s socio-economic development with many indicators ranking among the top in the country. At the same time, she hoped that the Ambassador’s visit would lay the foundation for building cooperative relationships between Bac Ninh province and the two countries’ partners.

Giang hoped that in his position, the Ambassadors would serve as a bridge to further promote the parties' good traditional friendship and create conditions to call for investors and partners from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to research and invest in the province in a variety of fields, especially in the fields of food manufacturing, processing, and trading as well as provide an environment for export goods (especially, OCOP products and handicraft products of the province) to access the two countries' markets. At the same time, they support the province in participating in promotional activities to advertise Bac Ninh’s image, unique cultural values, heritage, and famous tourist destinations to the people of the two countries, promote people-to-people diplomacy activities and enhance mutual understanding, Giang added.

In the forthcoming time, the Chairwoman expressed her hope to receive the attention and support of the Ambassadors so that the Dong Ho folk painting craft of Bac Ninh province will soon be recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.

In the coming time, Bac Ninh delegations will visit and work in Azerbaijan as well as sign a memorandum of understanding on establishing cooperative relations between Bac Ninh province and East Kazakhstan province. The Chairwoman expressed her hope that the ambassadors would strengthen contacts and enhance collaboration between Bac Ninh province and its partners.

For their part, the Ambassadors expressed their impressions of Bac Ninh's socio-economic development and foreign investment attraction. Appreciating the potential and close cultural similarities, the Ambassadors hoped that the two sides could organize working delegations to exchange and explore appropriate areas of cooperation as well as activities and events on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to promote cooperation in tourism and culture.
