Chairwoman works with enterprises in Thuan Thanh district

(BNP) - In the afternoon of August 13, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang and leaders of relevant departments and branches visited to encourage enterprises and workers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in Thuan Thanh district.

Chairwoman Giang visited Tan Phu Vietnam Joint Stock Company - Bac Ninh Branch which produces household plastic products for domestic market at Xuan Lam Industrial Cluster in Xuan Lam commune, Thuan Thanh District. Despite difficulties given by the epidemic the past time, the Company has made efforts maintain production and business activities. Up to now, more than 200 employees of the Company have been vaccinated first shoot against Covid-19.

Giang highly valued the Company’s efforts during the past time, adding that Bac Ninh province always accompanies, supports and create the most favorable conditions for businesses in the Covid-19 outbreak. She asked the Company as well as the business community in the province to continue with measures in the fight against the epidemic so as to speed up production in the last months of the year.

On this occasion, the Chairwoman handed VND 268,000,000 to employees of the Company affected by the Covid-19 epidemic according to Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of the Government.
