Delegation of Vietnam Institute of Economics works in Bac Ninh

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee welcomed the delegation of Vietnam Institute of Economics to work in the province as well as expressed his honor when Bac Ninh was nominated as a regional representative of the North region to take part in the Regional and Local Development Forum with vision to 2030. He emphasized that after more than 22 years of re-establishment, Bac Ninh has risen to become an industrial province and is now taking firm steps to build Bac Ninh province into a centrally-run city with many targets in the top nationwide. To achieve these outstanding results, the province is always interested in promoting strategic breakthroughs, restructuring the economy and promoting service development in the direction of civilization and modernization.

The Vice Chairman hoped that, through the working session, Bac Ninh province will receive comments and experiences of the Delegation of Vietnam Institute of Economics to make a report for the work of Local development strategies and direct the organization in successfully implementing the Party Congress at all levels in the coming time.

Also at the meeting, experts from the Vietnam Institute of Economics introduced the importance of building the Local Development Strategy with vision to 2030. They also presented and introduced the methods and tools to build the local socio-economic development strategy as well as consulted opinions with the provincial agencies to implement the content of the training documents.

According to the working program, the Delegation of Vietnam Institute of Economics will consult opinions some localities, cooperatives, businesses and people in the province.
